A HiKoo® Haiku Contest?
Imagine how many exciting projects you could create with $500 worth of HiKoo® yarn! One lucky (and creative) winner will realize this dream. All you have to do is compose a HiKoo® themed haiku, and you could find yourself swimming in fiber from your favorite local yarn store or online retailer of HiKoo® yarn.
What is a haiku?
A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry consisting of three lines. The first line contains 5 syllables, the middle line contains 7 syllables, and the last line contains 5 syllables. A haiku can, but generally does not rhyme. A traditional Japanese haiku will usually adhere to other long-established conventions, but for this contest we're simply looking for a poem of 5-7-5 syllables with a HiKoo® theme. Here's an example:

How do I participate?
There is no purchase required to participate. Simply fill out the submission form below with your name, valid email address, where you get your HiKoo® yarn (so you can receive your prize if you win), and of course your haiku!

This contest is open to legal residents of the (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 or older
• The contest begins on February 1, 2023 and all submissions must be received by 11:59pm PST on March 12, 2023
• The winner will be judged solely on creativity, so have fun!
• The winner will be announced on social media on March 23, 2023
• Prize to be redeemed through your favorite local yarn shop or online US-based retailer that stocks HiKoo® yarn
• Limit five (5) entries per person
