#21100513 - Simplicity - Florentina Sweater
Forentina-medium.jpg #21100513 - Simplicity - Florentina Sweater - Pattern designed by Natalie Larson.

Florentina was designed by Natalie Larson for the 2nd challenge of The Fiber Factor in which the contestants were told to “Color Inside the Box!”

Florentina, this tunic-type sweater, is reminiscent of one a Russian woman might wear. The hems are started separately and then joined to knit the body in the round. Shaping is achieved with pleats, and delicate detailing at the side “seams” add a special touch. The floral motifs are added with duplicate stitch after the garment is knit. The many colors of Simplicity will allow your imagination to soar as you execute various color options for both the sweater and the flower details!
