Plaid is the New Black was a result of the Sixth Challenge in The Fiber Factor where contestants were asked to "Accessorize!"

Plaid is the New Black is a simple, yet ingenious asymmetrical triangular wrap using three colors to create a plaid knitted fabric. Though complicated looking, it is really quite simple.

Option 1: Kenzie by Hikoo®, 50% Wool, 25% Nylon,10% Angora,10% Alpaca - 160 yds /50g (3 balls of MC - shown in Color #1002), and Simplicity by Hikoo®, 55% Merino, 28% Acrylic, 17% Nylon - 117 yds / 50g (2 skeins each of CC1 and CC2 - shown in Colors #039 & #025).
Option 2: Kenzie by Hikoo®, 3 balls of MC, and 1 ball each of CC1 and CC2.

Option 3: Simplicity by Hikoo®, 4 hanks of MC, and 2 hanks each of CC1 and CC2.
